There is enough for all of us. Care, housing, health, education, and work with dignity. The question isn’t who deserves it — it’s whether we have the will to build a fair society where everyone has access to it.

Care powers Maryland. Families — especially women — quietly hold up our community and economy. It’s time we valued them, their choices, and the care workers who are their backstops.

Public schools must be good enough for every child who walks through the door with enough teachers and resources to meet their individual needs. We must arm our students to design and build the future. We need public pre-K and school nutrition for every family who want them.

Maryland is home to highly educated workers, skilled tradespeople, a thriving tech sector. Let’s build an innovation economy that’s less dependent on the Federal government and makes room for everyone. Let’s be a beacon for investment in both biotech and green manufacturing.

An Innovation Economy

No employee should have to choose between a paycheck and healthcare for their kids and the right to speak and protest, legally, when they are not at work. The state should not do business with companies that participate in private prisons or mass surveillance.

Democracy and Fairness

Housing Stability and Energy Affordability

All our neighbors— renters and owners — deserve housing stability. We need to fast track the middle-class housing and the green energy we want, to bring people and businesses to Maryland.
